Sidhu Moose Wala Receives Grand Tribute At New York's Times Square, Fans Say, ‘Legends Never Die’
Punjabi rapper-singer Sidhu Moose Wala’s death sent shockwaves across the world. The singer who was shot dead in May received a special tribute at the Times Square New York. 

Interestingly, large billboards played clips of his song as fans, especially those from India, stopped by to watch him. Some even copied his thigh-thumping step while watching his videos. 



Several pictures and videos of the same have been going viral on the internet. In a now-viral video from Times Square in the US, several glimpses of Sidhu Moose Wala were featured on the huge billboards. 

A clip also showed him with his mother. Fans were also seen clicking pictures in front of the display boards.

The video saw pleasant reactions for the video, as many fans even prayed for the late singer. A fan commented on the video, “Waheguru ji bless his soul , he deserves all this, will be missing always." Another said, “legends never die”. One more wrote, "Rest in power legend.


For the unversed, Sidhu would have turned 29 on June 11, but days before his birthday, he was shot by unidentified assailants in Punjab. 

On his birthday, a special video was shared by Navraj Hans on Sidhu's Instagram page that comprised of his several childhood and throwback pictures and clips.

In a rather shocking turn of events, Sidhu was shot dead after the Punjab government lifted the security cover of 424 people, including the singer. The late singer was cremated at his native village in Mansa, in the presence of his family members and a sea of fans. His family organized an Antim Ardas ceremony for him on May 8, reported Hindustan Times.
